So yesterday we had just go home from church, I was chatting on the phone not really paying much attention to what I was doing. I opened the oven just before I was about to pre-heat it and flopping around inside was a SNAKE! I think it was on the top lip of the oven door by the handle and when I opened it, he fell in. So of course I start to scream and then my girls run over to see what's going on and they start screaming. It was just a little guy, probably only a foot or so long but I was shocked that there was a snake in my house. So Eric put on some gloves, grabbed the snake , put him in a bucket and then drove it over to some desert area near by. We still can't figure out how it got in. (not that there is any scenario that makes me feel better) I just hope we don't see anymore. Oh and by the way I have know idea what kind of snake it is. I'm sure I can look it up on the Internet, but I clearly haven't gotten around to doing that yet. All I know is, that it's a snake and it doesn't belong in my kitchen!

Just looking at it gives me the chills! I am on the look out now. WOW, that is just crazy.
Oh my gosh, I would have had a heart attack, good thing it was sunday and Eric was home, imagine if it was just you and the girls!!
So heather told me to check out your blog. When I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I usually don't feel the need to turn any lights on. After seeing that disgusting snake from your oven, last night I not only flipped on the light to look in the toilet first, but I also held my feet up off the ground through the whole experience. I know, I know, TMI!
